What If Wednesday - Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge

It’s WHAT IF? Wednesday
and time for a new sketch challenge!
The sketch that Wendy designed for the Rock
Stars to follow is:

Here is my take on this sketch:

I have used the "4318-K Stork" and the sentiment
"8601-E, Little One". I stamped the stork 4 times
onto cryogen white card stock and colored it with
my copics. I then just cut them out and matted them
onto a piece of yellow card stock.  I added a ribbon
and a bow to finish off the card.

Head on over to the House That Stamps Built blog and
see what the rest of the Rock Stars have created with
this great sketch.  While you are there why not enter
a creation that you have done following the sketch.

The rules are really simple......
Your card doesn’t even have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps,
but if you would like to include our designs we would really love to see them!
Plus you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing
for using our stamps in your submissions! Simply create a
card based on the sketch, upload your card to your blog
or Splitcoast gallery, then link your card to this post
Have Fun and I can't wait to see all the wonderful creations.

the new release and a second place prize of your choice of 4 stamps from
the new release.  We will also be awarding random prizes of rubber stamps
chosen from the readers who comment on each member's blog, so be
sure to leave some love.  Blog Hop winners will be announced on Monday,
June 27th before our next challenge.  Start your hop with Jacqueline's blog

Unfortunately I have not been feeling well since
last week.  I have not been able to create
anything with these awesome new stamps.
But please come back and check in a day or
two to see what I have done.

Here is my first card that I made
using these awesome Floral Images:

I used the "3019 Framed Daisies" and
"3024D Have a Nice Daisy".
There are so many great images to chose
from with this collection.  You will want them all.

The letter to collect from my blog is "N".

And don't forget to return to the Challenge Blog and leave your answer

Sweet Stamps Embossing Challenge

It's time again for a NEW Challenge
over at Sweet Stamps Blog.  Our challenge this
week is Embossing Heat or Dry.

Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber
stamp you get 2 entries into the challenge for a
chance to win a $20 shopping Spree.

I used a couple of Sweet Stamps Stamps on my
card for this weeks challenge.  I used the
Beautiful Day 919.  I stamped the Sunflower block
2 times onto Cryogen Card Stock using Shades Dye
Ink in Rustic and Brownie . I took and cut out the
sunflower that I stamped in Rustic ink and then
popped it up onto the stamped image in Brownie ink.
  I then stamped the Beautiful
Day sentiment using Shades Dye Ink in Rustic
I used the Cheery Lynn Large Rectangle Stitcher Plate to give the
dotted paper some embossing.  My Dp is from Basic Grey Wags
and Whiskers paper pad. And then I added some buttons to
finish it off.

Here's a closeup of the Sunflower Block Stitched:

And a closeup of the Beautiful Day sentiment:

One last peek at my creation for this week's challenge over at

Designer's Choice Challenge - Repeat Impressions

It's time for a new Challenge over at the House that Stamps Built
The Challenge is called Designer's Choice.
Here's how the "Designer's Choice Challenge" will work!
All of the fabulous design team members for Repeat Impressions
will be assigned a Wednesday, and we get to set the
"theme" for the challenge!  The Theme for this
week's DCC is hosted by Lynette and she is challenging
all of us to do a Father's Day card with Texture.
Could be embossing, could be flower soft, could be glitter –
anything that adds a little texture.

My very simple card today uses the SOTW "4134-K, His Words".
This was another HARD challenge for me as I usually like
to use alot of Bling and ribbon on my cards and most of
my stamps are flowers or girly stamps.  So after
going through my assortment of stamps, this sentiment
popped out.  I stamped His Words onto white card stock
with black ink.  I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss my
blue card stock, you can't really see the embossing in the
picture, but it is there.  I decided to add a ribbon, but instead
of the usual bow, I tied a knot.

Here is a closeup of the "4134-K, His Words":

Such great words....

Take a peek at what the rest of the DT has created for
this great Challenge.

Sweet Stamps Wedding/Anniversary Challenge

It's time again for a NEW Challenge
over at Sweet Stamps Blog.  Our challenge this
week is Wedding/Anniversary.

Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber
stamp you get 2 entries into the challenge for a
chance to win a $20 shopping Spree.

I used the Wedding Swans 3012.  I stamped it
with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Cryogen Iridescent
White Card Stock and colored it with my Copics.
and Elements Dies 112 to cut out my colored image.
I left the paper in the die and used a sponge dauber to
add some Shades Dye ink in Satin Rose to bring out the
embossing from the die.  I added a few pearls to the corners
to finish it off.

Here's a closer look at the Wedding Swans:

what the rest of the team has created for you.

It’s WHAT IF? Wednesday
and time for a new sketch challenge!
The sketch that Wendy designed for the Rock
Stars to follow is:

Here is my take on this sketch:
I kinda rotated the sketch for my card.

I have used four Repeat Impressions Stamps
on my card today.  They are 2423-L Under the Sea,
I stamped them onto Cryogen Card Stock and
colored them with my Copics.
I used my Spellbinders Labels18 to make
a frame for my colored image.
If you haven't guessed it yet, my favorite color card stock
at the moment is this teal/aqua color.  I LOVE this color....
It is actually the color I painted my Craft room.....

Here's a closeup of my Under Water scene:

Head on over to the House That Stamps Built blog and
see what the rest of the Rock Stars have created with
